  22. Often you can do this with the zoom gadget - or better still, an
  23. iconify gadget lets you shrink it to simply an icon on the backdrop
  24. which doesn't get in the way at all. I am about to get back to work on
  25. a commodity which will let you iconify _all_ windows safely.

  34. This isn't very likely. Possibly you could keep a record of programs,
  35. and reload them, and resize any windows which pop up at startup, which
  36. were there at shutdown. But there is no communication mechanism, such
  37. as there is on the Mac between Finder and application programs, which
  38. would allow this to be implemented in anything like completeness.
